On Friday, November 14th, our member Petar Janak attended the special premiere of the Rouleur/Live “Balancing Business and Passion” event in London, held at the prestigious Truman BreweryTruman Brewery. This was one of the most important events in the cycling world, bringing together professionals, innovative brands, and peloton stars. Guests included Canyon (Roman Arnold), Zwift (Eric Min), and legendary cyclist Greg Lemond.
Rouleur Live is known as the world’s greatest cycling show, a true celebration of cycling culture that combines top athletes, cutting-edge technology, and inspiring stories on stage. This year, the event featured over 81 exhibitors and was attended by more than 5,000 cycling enthusiasts, marking a 50% increase in ticket sales compared to previous years.
The event offers much more than just competitors and brands – it’s a place to hear incredible stories and experiences from the cycling world. This year’s talks covered topics such as the rise of cycling in Africa, advanced safety technology in the peloton, tactical innovations, and the extraordinary journeys of professional and amateur cyclists. Petar had the opportunity to attend lectures on how professional cycling is evolving and the innovations shaping the sport, from aero technology to new nutrition and training techniques.
The highlight of Friday’s program was “Balancing Business and Passion”, where Roman Arnold (Canyon) and Eric Min (Zwift) shared their experiences running major cycling brands. They discussed the challenges they had to overcome, creative decisions, and future plans, giving the audience insights rarely heard outside the professional cycling industry.
Petar reported that the atmosphere was extremely inspiring, full of passion for cycling and innovation. In addition to famous athletes and tech experts, Rouleur Live offers a chance to dive into stories of epic rides, with cyclists like Lael Wilcox and Amy Hudson sharing their experiences on ultra-distance challenges, night rides, and incredible achievements that push the limits of the sport.
