A formal meeting between the organizing team of the international cycling raceUCI Tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina” with the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, mrs Lidija Bradara. With this meeting, one of the most significant sports projects in the country received strong institutional support, only a few months after the race was officially included in the UCI road racing calendar for 2026.
The meeting was attended by the race director and President of the Cycling Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Toni Zorić and Organizing Committee member Igor Bašić, who presented the concept and key objectives of this multi-day sporting event. They emphasized that the race will connect different parts of the country and showcase the most beautiful regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to a wide international audience.


Already at this stage of preparation, interest in participating in the race has been expressed more than 59 teams from 37 countries, what Tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina places among the largest sporting events in Bosnia and Herzegovina in terms of the number of participating nations, second only to EYOF. Such strong interest confirms the growing recognition and potential of the project within international cycling circles.
President Bradara welcomed the project, emphasizing that Bosnia and Herzegovina has the capacity to host major international sporting events, and that the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina remains a strong partner in initiatives that promote the country and support the development of sports tourism.
Director Zorić thanked the President for the reception and support, noting that the race will contribute to strengthening cycling sport and the global visibility of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The organizing team concluded that the Tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina will become a symbol of connection, cooperation, and modern promotion of the country, offering long-term benefits for the development of sport and the enhancement of the tourism sector.
