Mostar will on Saturday, September 20, 2025, host the road cycling race Herzegovina Classic 2025, which will also count towards the National Road Cycling Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Special Traffic Regulation
In order to ensure the smooth running of the race, temporary traffic regulations will be in effect:
- 12:00 – 13:00: Difficult traffic conditions on the section Mostar – Bijelo Polje.
- 12:30 – 13:30: Complete traffic closure on the section Bijelo Polje – Rujište, until the competitors pass and the race is finished.
We kindly ask all drivers for extra caution, patience, and understanding, especially since the race also includes children of younger age categories.
This sporting spectacle will gather the best cyclists from the country and the region, with a dynamic and technically demanding route – starting in the heart of Mostar, across long flat sections and steep climbs, all the way to the finish line in Rujište, one of the most renowned cycling challenges in this part of the country. It is there that the national champion title will be decided.
Cycling Spectacle and Promotion of Herzegovina
Beyond its sporting significance, the event also plays a strong promotional role – showcasing Herzegovina as an ideal destination for road cycling, from mountain ascents to breathtaking landscapes. The organizers, HerzegovinaBike in cooperation with the Cycling Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are making great efforts to popularize cycling and attract as many spectators as possible.
