This self-guided cycling experience takes you along a scenic old road above the sea, through quiet villages and historic borderlands, all the way to one of the world’s most renowned oyster-growing areas.

In Mali Ston Bay, a protected nature reserve, you will board a boat and visit a working oyster farm to learn about the traditional cultivation of Ostrea edulis, a rare and highly prized oyster species grown here since Roman times. Taste fresh oysters directly from the sea, paired with local wine, and discover why Mali Ston oysters are considered a true Mediterranean delicacy. (optional – on reqest)
