After today’s meeting held in London, the organizers of Tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina are proud to announce the arrival of one of the biggest stars in global cycling journalism Ned Boulting, the acclaimed British sports commentator, TV presenter and author. His involvement in our event represents a historic step forward and confirms that Bosnia and Herzegovina is rapidly establishing itself on the international cycling scene.
Ned Boulting for 23 years, has been a central figure in ITV’s Tour de France coverage, where since 2003 he has built the reputation of one of the most respected voices in cycling journalism. On his very first day at the Tour, he met his long-time collaborator and friend David Millar, with whom he later launched one of today’s most successful cycling podcasts. Over nearly a quarter of a century of professional work, Boulting has written six books about cycling and performed five one-man theatre tours dedicated to the Tour de France.
In addition to his television career, Boulting is globally known for the project Never Strays Far, one of the most influential and widely followed cycling radio shows and podcasts. He co-hosts the show with David Millar, Pete Kennaugh and honorary team member Lizzie Deignan. The programme focuses on professional cycling, featuring interviews with leading figures from the peloton and on-the-ground reporting — and during the Tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Never Strays Far will serve as the official broadcast channel of our race.

A major international promotion for Bosnia and Herzegovina
The arrival of Ned Boulting and the broadcasting through Never Strays Far represents a significant promotional breakthrough. It is a platform followed by millions of cycling fans worldwide, including key figures of the global cycling community. With this partnership, the Tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina enters the category of races with international media visibility unmatched by any event previously organised in our country.
We are confident that his presence will attract a big international audience who will follow the race and discover the beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the organisation behind our event.
“The arrival of Ned Boulting and the coverage on the Never Strays Far platform is a major step forward. The Tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina gains media value literally measured in millions of viewers. This proves how far we have come and confirms that this project has a strong place in the future” - said Toni Zorić, Race Director.
Record-breaking interest from teams worldwide
Tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina is already breaking records in terms of international team interest. The organisers report receiving applications from 52 teams from more than 37 countries, a result no one expected at this stage of the race’s development. This level of interest demonstrates that Bosnia and Herzegovina is increasingly positioning itself as an attractive destination for top-level sporting events, as well as a tourism gem drawing global attention.
All indicators point to a spectacular edition of the race ahead — one that will significantly contribute to the promotion of sport, tourism and the positive image of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The arrival of Ned Boulting is yet another confirmation that the Tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina is becoming an event worthy of standing alongside major European tours.
