The weekend in Herzegovina was spent in cycling and cycle tourism. Herzegovina hosted hundreds of cyclists from Croatia, Serbia and all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event \"Get to know Herzegovina\", organized by the association \"HerzegovinaBike\" in cooperation with Herzegovinian clubs from Mostar, \u0160iroki, Posu\u0161je, Drinovac, Grud, Ljubu\u0161ki and \u010capljina, provided the participants with an unforgettable experience of spectacular landscapes, picturesque surroundings and the hospitality of the cities they visited during today's 130 km ride.<\/p>\n\n\n

The start of the ride was in Mostar in front of the Croatian Home of Herceg Stjepan Kosa\u010d. After the first 20 km, the cyclists arrived in \u0160iroki, where they had the opportunity to get to know this beautiful Herzegovinian town. Guests were warmly welcomed and refreshed in front of the company Vibar doo Best Drive BiH<\/a>, which is known for its support of cycling and promotion of an active lifestyle and outdoor tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n

After \u0160iroki Brijeg, the participants visited Grude, where they were welcomed by members of the Grude Cycling Club. After a short break at Agrotourism Mari\u0107a gaj, where they had the opportunity to taste Herzegovinan delicacies, they headed towards Ljubu\u0161ki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Ljubu\u0161ki, they joined the children's race \"Kids Race Gra\u010dine\" organized by BK Ljubu\u0161ki and took photos with the little ones who expressed their enthusiasm and happiness. The last town on their route was the always beautiful \u010capljina, after which they returned to Mostar on the picturesque \u0106ira railway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cycling tourism offers a diverse market. The demand for this market niche is growing, due to an active and healthy way of moving and forms of tourism, as well as the desire to explore nature. Cycling tourism offers many opportunities, including experience with the local community, cycling tours on unpaved roads, getting to know new places and destinations, as well as new opportunities that come with e-bikes. This is just the beginning of an exciting cycling season in Herzegovina\", said Toni Zori\u0107, president of the HerzegovinaBike association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another spectacular event awaits us next Sunday - cycling event \u0106iro Trail<\/a>, which will once again attract hundreds of participants from the region. We invite all cycling enthusiasts to join this extraordinary event. There is no better way to enjoy Saturday's half-marathon in Mostar, and then on Sunday to get to know the southern part of Herzegovina and the \u0106iro railway on a relaxed bike ride to \u010capljina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
