On the occasion of the Christmas holidays and New Year celebrations, the Cycling Club Mostar, in collaboration with the City of Mostar and the Association HerzegovinaBike, organized the traditional Santa Claus bicycle ride through the streets of Mostar.
Cyclists dressed in red suits and equipped with sweet gifts for children rode a circuit throughout the entire city.
Anyone could participate in the bike ride by dressing up as Santa Claus or at least wearing a Santa Claus hat on their head.
Like in previous years, the youngest citizens of Mostar, those found on the city streets, were given sweets and appropriate gifts. They greeted citizens with the familiar ho-ho-ho exclamation to bring joy to the youngest residents as well as the slightly older ones who enjoy the holiday spirit.
“This is one of our most beautiful events where cyclists will don well-known red suits and ride through the city to once again brighten the hearts of our youngest fellow citizens. This is already a traditional event that attracts a large number of cyclists eager to spread the holiday spirit through the streets of Mostar.", said Toni Zorić, president of the HerzegovinaBike association.
After the bike ride, club members distributed gifts to the children who came to attend the event. The gifts were provided by the sponsor Namex, and the members of the Mostar Cycling Club would like to express their gratitude for the support in this project.
The employees of the MUP of HNK took care of the safety of all cyclists.
